DROPS Karisma
DROPS Karisma is a 4 strands sport yarn which has great shape stability and is superwash treated, which means that it is machine washable and perfect for daily use.
Soft and comfortable to the skin, DROPS Karisma is one of the most popular qualities in our classic wool range since its first introduction in Scandinavia during the 80s, and is supported by an extensive array of patterns.
This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 25.3.0110), Standard 100, Class I. This means that it has been tested and found completely free from harmful chemicals and that it is safe for human use. Class I is the highest level, and it means the yarn is suitable for baby articles (ages 0-3).
DROPS Alaska
DROPS Alaska is a classic spun, untreated yarn in 100% new wool. Untreated wool means that the wool is only washed, and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This enhances the wool's best qualities, while it provides also a better shape and texture quality.
DROPS Alaska is a triple stranded proven quality yarn, one of the classics of the DROPS collection, as popular today as when launched in the mid 80's. This quality offers a wide range of colours and great number of patterns for women, men, children and accessories.
DROPS Alaska contains some mixed colours, which means the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives it a mixed effect.

DROPS Merino Extra Fine
DROPS Merino Extra Fine is cable spun from extra fine merino wool fibers from free-range animals in and South America. Garments made in this yarn are very comfortable and have a great surface quality. This yarn is gentle on the skin, and therefore great for baby and children garments.
Ideal for textured patterns such as cables and seed stitch, this yarn is superwash treated, which means it's machine washable and suitable for everyday use.
DROPS Merino Extra Fine has both solid and mix colours - mix meaning that the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives the shade a mixed effect.
DROPS Merino Extra Fine is spun from multiple thin strands, which gives the yarn extra elasticity. Is this special construction that makes it extra important to treat the garment right: make sure that you knit with the correct tension and rather use a tight tension than loose. Don't wash your garment too warm, never leave it to soak and let the garment dry flat.
